Weather and web camera

The weather in Estonia is largely dependent on the Baltic Sea. During summer the sky is blue and the temperature can reach up to 30°, although the average temperature in summer is 16.4°. Haapsalu enjoys the highest number of sunny days per year in the country, and the sea water is warmest here, too. Light rain is usual during spring and autumn. Remember to pack an umbrella and a waterproof jacket. It snows in winter, when the temperatures drop below zero – perfect weather for skiing, sledding and making snowmen. During cold winters, an ice road is constructed to connect the mainland and the islands.
Chilly winds from the Baltic Sea influence the climate in spring and summer.
